Post image for NEW Youth Surge Night Age Decelerating Night Moisturizer – Dry Combination

A good quality night moisturizer is key to keeping your complexion soft and smooth, but Clinique have upped the stakes with a moisturizer that promises to fight the signs of ageing whilst you sleep. It’s called Youth Surge Night and uses Sirtuin technology to do this. Sirtuins are proteins which help extend the lifespan of the skin and make it look more youthful.

If you think that’s a mouthful, the rest of the press release gets even more complicated, so I’ll spare you the head scratching moments. It would be nice if companies could market their products without including such technical info, but then if you’ve spent lots of money researching it, you probably want to share that with the world.
Clinique are pretty consistent with creating high quality products though, . The cream features Vitamin E, C and a host of antioxidant goodness.
“Skin is more permeable at night and receptive to concentrated treatments. During this natural repair cycle exposure to environmental assaults are minimised and free radical scavengers are able to “sweep away” daytime damage before it can accumulate, ” says Clinique’s dermatologist.
There are three versions available to try- Very Dry to Dry, Dry Combination and Combination to Oily.
Have you tried it yet? What do you think about it?

Post image for 8 Things You Didn’t Know About Benefit Cosmetics

1. Benetint was first created as a nipple stain for an exotic dancer in 1977 who came into the Benefit boutique looking for something to make her nipples rosy when she danced.

2. Benefit shapes & grooms over 3000 brows a day at our famous brow bars located around the world.

3. Benefit co-founders Jean & Jane almost opened up a Casserole Shop instead of a makeup shop! They flipped a coin and thanks goodness it landed on cosmetics!

Post image for Sula – Paint & Peel Nail Polish

The varnish formula is created out of a special substance which allows you to peel off your varnish easily, reather than chip away at it for days. They say it’s not as long lasting as regular polishes, but as most varnishes don’t last that long on me anyways, I’m OK with that.

The varnishes are water based so you lose the chemical smell that’s so common with varnishes and they’re free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and Phthalates. They’re available in some rather pretty colours, and I think that even without the novelty factor I’d still be tempted to try them. Have any of you guys had any experience with Sula polishes? tell me what you think.
